Amazing! A lot like French toast, and unrestricted!
- 1 packet crispy cereal (unrestricted!)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1-2 whole eggs
- Water (if needed)
- WF pancake or blueberry syrup
Before opening, gently crush the contents of a Crispy Cereal package until there are no large “crisps” left. I use the bottom of a mug, or sometimes roll a can of canned food over the foil packet.
Mix crushed cereal with one egg. (Subtract 1 oz of protein from your protein meal).
Use non-stick olive oil spray to grease a hot frying pan. Fry up 2 pancakes, flipping them after 2-3 minutes, until browned. Serve with WF Pancake Syrup or WF Blueberry Syrup.
*Variations: add 1/4 cup rhubarb compote to the batter, make the pancakes with a pudding packet (i.e. milk chocolate). Also, you can double the recipe by using 1 Crispy Cereal Packet and 1 other packet (such as Pineapple Banana Drink Mix or Wildberry Yogurt) to get a more fruity flavor. Just refrigerate the unused pancakes and enjoy as a cold snack later—they are delicious! Especially if you dip them in rhubarb compote!
