I was pushing 229 lbs and had a 42” waist when I walked in the door to meet my Ideal Protein Weight Counselor for the first time in August 2012. I’m 5’ 10” tall and knew I was heavy, but did not know what to do about it. I was embarrassed about my weight and thought I would never be a ‘Slim Jim.’

For years I was on a vicious cycle of using intense exercise and weight lifting to lose weight.  The more I worked out at the gym the more I ate.  Nothing was working.  I was tired all the time and looked chunky.  Yes.  I could bench press over 260 lbs, but all the “muscle” was covered in a thick layer of fat. 

Ideal Protein has changed my life, my attitude, and my eating habits.  I never cheated on my weight loss plan.  The hardest thing to overcome was to trust the program and NOT exercise.  From Week #1 my body fat started peeling away.  I learned how to use Ideal Protein to lose 3 to 5lbs of fat each week, and used the IP Cookbook to discover new ways to eat and lose weight.  

After 3 months I reached my goal weight and lost over 55lbs.  The 10” loss on my waistline has made me feel like a whole new person! Each week I posted my “SUGAR FREE” progress on my FaceBook page. My friends & family initially had their doubts, but after 12 postings they realized that the Ideal Protein diet worked with amazing results.   

I am now on the weight maintenance phase.  It is with much emotion and a grateful heart that I can share my journey and hope that you are encouraged to try this program for yourself.  It works if you can trust the system and follow the Ideal Protein plan
